Back to the Farm

Hello everyone, this is my 2nd blog post. I'm still new at this so hopefully I'll say wonderful things to inspire you all.

This is my latest painting, it's still wet on the easel. It's called On The Wing, it's 40"x40" painted on gallery wrap, oil on canvas. I had so much fun painting the landscape out of the window. Such a cute little farm, and happy birds. It's a great day on this fictitious farm. Temp. 78 degrees, gentle breeze. Apple pie for dessert!  I'm planning on sending this painting to my gallery in Atlanta, Mason Murer Fine Art. Hope you guys like it.

  2. Hi Karen,

So glad to see you are blogging now! My friend and I met you and Neil at Dean Day Gallery in Houston several months back (the day after our big snow storm!) when you had an opening there. I always enjoy looking at your paintings, so thanks for sharing it in a blog.

  4. Hi Becky, thanks so much for your comment. I do remember you. That was a fun show, and after getting over the shock of the snowstorm in Houston, I enjoyed that trip so much. I'm hoping that we will have another show there this year too.
