I've been in the mood to paint animals. Neil's been working on his amazingly, beautiful cow. She takes my breath away every time I walk into our studio. She looks like she's been painted by Rembrandt. So I decided to paint my version of cows. Not so dramatic as Neil's, but kind of whimsical. This painting is 36x36", and will go to Mason Murer gallery, with Neil's cow.

I know most of you will think this is a bit dark for me. But I do have my dark side. Actually, I originally painted this painting several years ago when I wasn't adding anything but tied chairs in the paintings. But I recently got this painting back from a gallery, and thought it needed more. I do love crows. They are so smart and cool looking. So here it is now. I just love it. It's 40"x40", I'll be sending it to Mason Murer gallery when it dries. Just in time for Halloween.

In contrast to my cheerful Ocean and Fruit painting of last night, I've decided to try my hand at painting a tornado. I don't know if anyone will find it as interesting as I do, but it's something I've always wanted to paint. I'm so fascinated by tornado's, very fearful of them, I could never be a storm chaser, but I think there is a beauty in their power. This painting will be offered for auction on ebay tonight. I'm starting this week's ebay paintings with a bright beach painting. The contrast between the turquoise ocean and the bright red fruit adds a punch to this image. My husband Neil's paintings of cherries inspired me to paint some cherries of my own, they were calling out to me. If you would like to place a bid on ebay click here.
